Our specialist physiotherapists offer gentle, expert care for concerns such as pelvic floor dysfunction, postnatal recovery, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and pre- or post-surgical rehabilitation.

Our Perinatal Physiotherapy Packages are thoughtfully designed to nurture your body, support your recovery, and empower you with confidence throughout pregnancy and motherhood.

Each programme is personalised and tailored to your unique needs, pregnancy experience, and type of delivery — helping you prepare for birth and optimise your postpartum recovery with expert care.

  • 4 Appointments focusing on:

    • 16 Weeks – Foundation & Pregnancy Exercise Principles

    • 24 Weeks – Pelvic Floor & Core

    • 30 Weeks – Massage, Acupuncture & Reassessment 

    • 36 Weeks – Birth Preparation & Recovery Planning including guidance for your birth partner

    Tailored to you, our antenatal package includes physiotherapy treatments and expert advice, pregnancy massage, acupuncture, and exercise guidance personalised to your needs, focusing on easing back and pelvic girdle pain, improving sleep and posture, and building strength to prepare your body for birth.

    Price: £960 (£240 / session)

  • 6 Appointments focusing on:

    • 0–2 Weeks – Early Recovery (Face-to-Face or Virtual)

    • 4 Weeks – Core & Scar Assessment

    • 6–8 Weeks – Pelvic Floor & Recovery Progression

    • 8, 10 & 12 Weeks – Individual Guided Rehabilitation

    Designed to restore your body and rebuild strength, our postnatal package supports your recovery and promotes long-term pelvic health. Tailored to your type of delivery, it helps you heal, recover, care for your pelvic floor, abdominal core, C-section scar or perineal wound, supporting a safe return to exercise as you embrace motherhood.

    Price: £1,470 (£245 / session)

  • A total of 10 one hour sessions combining Antenatal and Postnatal perids, ensuring healthy and empowered preparation to birth, followed by supporting strong and confident motherhood.

Urinary Symptoms Package for Stress Urinary Incontinence

Programme Introduction

Do you experience unexpected leakage when you cough, laugh, sneeze, or exercise? This is often Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI), a common condition caused by pressure on the bladder.

Our comprehensive Urinary Symptoms Package for SUI is designed to address pressure-related leakage, helping you manage your symptoms and restore your confidence in everyday activities.

Bliss structured and bespoke gradual strengthening and pressure-management programme focusing on improving pelvic floor support and function during load, impact, and daily movements based off of an individualised pelvic health assessment.

  • Includes: Comprehensive pelvic assessment, transperineal Pelvic floor ultrasound imaging for down training or improved pelvic floor coordination, pelvic floor plan.

  • Approximate Cadence: Weekly sessions (4), bi‑weekly (3), monthly (3).

  • Total Sessions: 10

Optional Enhancements

  • Visceral mobilisation and diaphragmatic massage +/-acupuncture

  • Pilates programme for improved posture, core strength, and stability

  • Musculoskeletal physiotherapy to address lower limb, back, neck or shoulder concerns.

Structure

1. Initial Assessment 

  • Discuss bladder symptoms and contributing factors eg Prolapse screening

  • Assessment of breathing mechanics, Core strength, glute strength assessment

  • Physical and pelvic floor internal examination provided strength grade and treatment dependent on functional deficit

  • Review of cough/sneeze mechanics (“the knack”)

2. Treatment Focus

  • Pelvic floor strengthening progression (endurance + power)

  • Training “the knack” for stress triggers

  • Postural re-education

  • Functional loading mechanics (lifting, laughing, running)

  • Glute, hip, and deep core strengthening plan

  • if required Biofeedback or manual therapy for overactivity for pelvic or respiratory muscle tension

Treatment Cadence and Duration

Phase 1: Strength Activation (Weeks 1–5)

  • Weekly sessions (5)

  • Establish correct pelvic floor activation and breathing mechanics

  • Begin strength training for pelvic floor + glutes

  • Introduce pressure-management strategies

Phase 2: Functional Load Training (Weeks 6–12)

  • Bi-weekly sessions (3)

  • Training during common stressors (cough, sneeze, lifting)

  • Return-to-running or gym programme if relevant

Phase 3: Consolidation & Prevention (Weeks 12–20)

  • Monthly sessions (2)

  • High-load strengthening

  • Long-term prevention strategies
